While this resource is not a typical method book, it is not a chording method book either. Older beginners WILL learn to read bass notes in the C 5-finger scale too. Through a carefully structured approach, students begin by reading notes in the right-hand C 5-finger scale only, accompanied by simple pop chords in the left hand.
