Age is Just a Number

Synopsis Keyarra (Key-are-rah) – The Coy Beauty. Keyarra has just started to live her young life again after taking some time to put on a good poker face, to conceal a terrible secret that she feels will divide her family. As she works to get back in the good graces of her best friend Tia, she gets re-acquainted with another old friend that makes things a little complicated for her. He sees through her built walls and uses his charm to slowly break down those walls. Will Keyarra be able to resist his allure, and stay on track with her secret? Or will she fall hard for the boy that she has had a crush on since childhood, and reveal it all? Tia – The Haute Spitfire. Tia has never been the one to play with. From the time she could talk, to a teenager, she has always been the one to speak her mind and if talking didn’t work, then her hands certainly would. When her best friend suddenly goes MIA, she gets closer to someone that maybe she shouldn’t, but no one, not even him, is going to stop her from doing what she wants. Once she and her brother, Derek move back to Baltimore, she comes face to face with her ex-best friend. What she didn’t prepare for was a new face that would make her forget what she has always been familiar with. Matthew – The Hothead Cuisinier. Matthew has always been short tempered but after a sudden loss, it gets out of control. As he struggles to keep his temper at bay and deal with his troubled sister Keyarra, he finds comfort in cooking and with a girl who is supposed to be off limits. With the return of his best friend Derek and his sister Tia, things start to look up for him. But he must now ensure that his past and present situations do not collide. Derek – The Alluring Charmer. Derek never has to do much to get women. They fall into his lap with just a wink from his hypnotic eyes. He does what he pleases with them and sends them on their way, but that also becomes his biggest downfall. Once he gets on the straight and narrow after leaving the chaos in the past, he starts fresh in his hometown of Baltimore with his angry little sister, Tia by his side. Trying to control his urges becomes hard when temptation literally meets him at the airport. Will Derek fall into his old ways, or will he prevail and prove to everyone that his old man-whorish tendencies are behind him. — ASIN: B0DJDFB4QP | ISBN13: 9798335729703 | ISBN-13: 979-8335729703
