“Constituents of Contact Manipulation”: The Beginning

This Kenpo book is the first to be released since the Infinite insights that has “”New”” content as opposed to just re-hashing or giving a new opinion on “”how”” it’s done. Professor Todd Durgan shares some of his insights and understanding of Contact Manipulation and the elements involved in control and containment. You will find that these teachings are foundational to the application of all of your martial technique, not just contact manipulation but blocking, striking, and kicking as well. This is not a book on how to do Kenpo; it is about the basics of locking and controlling an opponent, regardless of the style or system that you study. It’s about how to be more effective with your locking and choking and much more. If you are a teacher, or plan on teaching the arts of any style, there are tools that will help you be a better teacher and practitioner through a clearer and more concise conveyance of some key elements in the Arts.
