High-Trust Leadership: Building High Performance Teams

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far with significant achievement and lasting significance, you must go as a team. If you want to do both, build TRUST.” — Captain George Dom, USN(Ret) From the Foreword by Dr. Jim Loehr, Co-Founder, Human Performance Institute: “”When I am asked how to build a truly extraordinary, high-performance culture, I say look no farther than the US Navy’s Blue Angels. Whether the application is business, sports, or the military, the Blue Angels have built a tested blueprint for taking human performance to unprecedented levels of excellence. Culture is everything in high performance, and with the right culture, amazing things are possible. High-Trust Leadership is a deep dive into the cultural blueprint that enables the Blue Angels to produce performance magic. Issues of purpose, mission, accountability, humility, deep trust, unconscious competence, total commitment, and authentic communication through the prism of the Blue Angel’s culture represent the essence of this book. I strongly believe if one wants to learn something truly important and challenging, they should seek out the best possible source in that space. Learning from the best is the shortest path to becoming the best. And, in my experience, George Dom and the Blue Angels represent the best to learn from, bar none. Anyone seeking to build a world-class team and a world-class performance culture should find this book intoxicating.”” About the Author: Author Captain Dom is a former naval officer and aviator with a career in key leadership positions in high performance organizations, including four aircraft carrier strike-fighter squadrons, air wing commander on the USS Dwight D.
