Nathan Bedford Forrest’s Hometown Recipes

This reprint is a revival of a cherished recipe book from the mid-1970s by the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Chapel Hill, Tennessee. In the mid-1970s the Chapel Hill BPW printed a book of recipes gathered from local ladies and bound it with metal rings. Recent inquiries have been made about the availability of the book for purchase. Several of the remaining members of the defunct organization discussed the request and agreed that the book would be reprinted and any proceeds from the sales go to the Forrest Alumni Association. After nearly fifty years, these recipes are not only a guide for cooking but a gateway to relive cherished memories of the wonderful ladies that made contributions to the book.
